Welcome, and thanks for being here. These terms explain the rules for using this website and for working with me. Please read them. By using this site or engaging my services, you agree to what's set out below.
In these terms, "I", "me", and "my" refer to Oluwabusayomi Adebayo, operating as Busayo Adebayo, the sole trader behind the website at workwithbusayo.com ("the site"). "You" refers to you, whether you're browsing the site or hiring me for a project. "Services" means the design, brand, website, social, and related work I provide. "Deliverables" means the final files and assets I create for you.
You're welcome to browse the site, read the resources, and download anything I've made available. In return, you agree not to misuse it: no attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site, and no copying or republishing its content as your own.
All content on this site, including text, design, graphics, guides, and downloadable resources, belongs to me unless stated otherwise. You may use free resources and playbooks for your own personal and business use, but you may not resell them or pass them off as your own work.
The site may link to other websites or tools I use, such as my scheduling and booking links. I'm not responsible for the content or practices of those third-party services.
Some resources are free to download after you provide your name and email. By doing so, you agree I may contact you about relevant updates and offers. You can opt out at any time. How I handle your information is covered in my Privacy Policy.
Every project begins with a conversation about what you need. Because my services are paid for upfront, once payment has been made we agree a written scope of work that sets out what's included, the timeline, and any specifics for your engagement. That scope of work, together with these terms, forms our agreement. If anything in the scope of work conflicts with these terms, the scope of work takes priority for that project.
Work begins once the scope of work has been agreed.
Projects are paid for upfront. I only execute a project once payment for the agreed services has been made in full through Paystack, my payment provider.
For ongoing or subscription services, recurring billing commences once the scope of work has been agreed, and continues for the agreed period through Paystack.
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT and any Paystack transaction fees, which are added at checkout and are payable by you in addition to the quoted price.
All amounts paid are non-refundable except to the extent required by law.
Each project includes up to two rounds of revisions on the Deliverables, so we can refine the work until it's right. Additional revision rounds, or changes beyond the agreed scope, are billed separately at my current rate.
To keep your project on track, you agree to provide the materials, content, and feedback I need in a timely way, and to review and approve work at the agreed checkpoints. Delays in feedback or materials may move your timeline.
You will own the intellectual property rights to the final Deliverables created for you, once you have paid for the project in full.
I keep ownership of any pre-existing tools, templates, processes, and know-how I use to produce your work. Where Deliverables include third-party assets, such as fonts or stock images, these remain subject to their own licences, which I'll pass on to you.
I may feature completed work in my portfolio, case studies, and marketing. Whether I can showcase your project, and any non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement that applies, will be set out in the scope of work for your engagement. Where an NDA or a written request for confidentiality is in place, I will not display your work publicly, and its terms take priority.
You may cancel a project at any time by letting me know in writing. Amounts already paid are non-refundable, except to the extent required by law.
I provide my Services with professional care and skill. However, I can't guarantee specific business outcomes, such as a particular level of sales, traffic, or growth, as these depend on many factors outside my control.
The site and its free resources are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I won't be liable for indirect or consequential losses, and my total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid me for that project.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
I take your privacy seriously. Details of what information I collect and how I use it are set out in my Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "last updated" date. Continuing to use the site or my Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes will be handled by the Nigerian courts. If you are based outside Nigeria, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your own country.
